Cornwall in February - A collection of the most beautiful Cornish beach photos taken in February

February 1st – Coverack Beach,The Lizard Peninsula West Cornwall

February was off to a flyer in Cornwall. Freezing cold but the sun was trying it’s best to warm everybody up. This beautiful sunrise over Coverack Beach was captured by Lizard Holiday Cottages

February 3rd – St Michael’s Mount,Marazion Beach, West Cornwall

We didn’t have too much snow here in Cornwall, but the light dusting that we did have resulted in some beautiful photos, like this one by Eva Seymour of Well Put Words of a snowy Marazion beach.

February 4th – Porthmeor Beach, St Ives, West Cornwall

With the snow gone, Cornwall was back to it’s best. A lovely photo by Aspects holidays of Porthmeor Beach (home to the world famous Tate Gallery) basking in the winter sun.

A beautiful winters day at Crantock, with an almost desserted beach – only a few dog walkers for company :-).

February 7th – Porthcurno Beach, West Cornwall

ONe of the most iconic beaches in Cornwall, Porthcurno beach is on the southern tip of Cornwall and could look beautiful whatever the weather. This lovely photo was taken by local photographer Lee Palmer

Blue skies, no wind and solid waves make perfect surfing conditions. This photo by Glassworx shows local surfers having some winter fun in the water on Fistral. Brrrrrr

February 8th – Kynance Cove, The Lizard Peninsula

One of the most magical places on earth. Kynance Cove, on the Lizard Peninsula was looking (and feeling) more like summer when we visited one lazy Sunday in February. Luckily the tide was out too so we were able to explore all the caves and beach.

Cyclist Ken Walker and friends found the perfect place to take a break from their sunday cycle, overlooking the rugged cliffs on the Lizard Peninsula in West Cornwall.
